The traditional technique of hand-spinning involves using two-coloured yarns to spin twisted threads together, selecting color pairs that harmonize, such as white and black. This technique allows for a much greater variety of product designs. Typically, the woven patterns resulting from this method are applied specifically to Wrap-around Skirt Textiles.
